- Darrell Garza, 36, lost his vision as a child, has battled testicular cancer twice — once at 24, then again at 34 — and has undergone multiple surgeries, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Amidst his cancer diagnoses and treatment, he worked to find the bright side in every situation, leaning on his loved ones and his care team, led by Kyle T. Keyes, M.D., Texas Urology Specialists–Austin, Austin Midtown, and South Austin, to come out on top. Today, he is sharing his story in the hopes of inspiring others facing difficult diagnoses.
